THERAPY ASSISTANT / ADMIN SUPPORT

Ashleigh (Ash) is a friendly and empathetic Allied Health Assistant who supports the Lotus Therapy team in a dual capacity as Administration and Therapy Assistant, providing both clinicians and clients administrative and therapeutic support.

Administratively, Ashleigh works hard to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our clinics. Welcoming our clients and their families with a warm smile at the door, and always answering phone calls with a friendly nature. She takes great pride in supporting our clinicians with administrative tasks such as scheduling and managing appointments, and assisting with the creation of therapy resources.

As a Therapy Assistant, Ashleigh provides therapeutic intervention to her clients in alignment with the therapy plans set by our therapists. She is passionate about providing person centred care with a strong desire to create a safe and supportive environment in which her clients feel comfortable in engaging in therapy, growing in their confidence while working towards achieving their therapy goals.

Ashleigh holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She has recently relocated to the Gympie area from Moreton Bay with her husband, and their two pets Scout and Skittles.

Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys crocheting, getting out into nature and exploring new places, and spending time with her loved ones.
